Dragon Tails
Awards System
Dragon tails is a school wide positive reinforcement program that includes all staff and students. Dragon Tails are small slips of paper with DRAGONS written in acrostic. Each letter is a skill which the students can be recognized for using.

When students receive a Dragon Tail they return it to their class, put it into their draw box and give themselves a check mark on their classroom chart. During the award assemblies our successful students will be recognized for attaining specific goals.
* 10 Dragon Tailes: special certificate, names posted on announcements and on the wall + each dragon tail is entered for a draw to win a prize
** 25 Dragon Tails: same as for 10 but a nicer certificate and a school bracelet
*** 50 Dragon Tails: still entered in draw and name is posted but receive an ice cream sundae instead of a certificate
**** Year End: Super Draw, all dragon tails for the whole year are put into a draw for a brand new bike, winners size!
